• Grain: Normally straight and coarse texture
• Color Change: Medium high degree of color change from golden brown to dark brown with age

• Color/ Description: Heartwood is light brown. Some boards may have a pinkish tint or a slight grayish cast. Sapwood is white to cream.
• Grain: Open, with longer rays than red oak. Ocassionally crotches, swirls and burls.
• Color Change: White oak undergoes a medium degree of color change.
